Angry Minute
So I’m not feeling that angry this week. I’ve been too busy with preparing to move from my current location to another lair. But the future is what sucks, and it is what angers me, because honestly like everyone I HATE MOVING.
Don’t get me wrong, I want to move out of my current apartment and get features I don’t currently have. A bigger living room, a bathroom attached to my bedroom… things like that make this all worth it.
But what sucks is the physical moving part of it all. Boxing everything, renting a truck, getting all my shit into that truck, driving the truck to my new lair, and then repeating what I just did but in reverse. And it doesn’t help I’m stubborn and chosen to never help any of my friends or family move. I live by the creed, “I move myself, you move yourself.” So I’m doing this the Douchebag way.
You know I use to be able to move all my shit inside my Pontiac Firebird. I never owned anything really big, and anything that was big was easily deconstructible. But now I’m older and own “big” things. I got me a real bed instead of a futon, I own two arcade machines, got a loveseat last year, and even the washer n dryer need to be ported somewhere. Yeah, all too big for the old Firebird… that is if I still had the Firebird.
But I still press forward. Though moving sucks I’m still moving forward. Already took care of the bills and everything of that nature, just really waiting for moving day.
Just wish moving was easier somehow. I guess I could pay strangers to move my crap, but I’d rather do my own thing. These are my items, this is my move, and I burden no one but myself.
But no worries my AngryFANatics; the AngryMinute is going no where. No matter where I lay my hat, this will always be my home.
Moving still sucks, pisses me off. But once it’s done I can devote my anger to other things… like that bitch that just cut infront of me. BITCH YOU BETTER MOVE! AHHHHHHHH!

Angry Minute
I’m a small guy, maybe a buck fifty on a good day. I have never been a big person, and a majority of my life I have felt unhealthy. Not because I actually WAS unhealthy, but because my small size made me FEEL unhealthy. So I took charge of my life, placed myself on a training regiment, and after three years I am happy to report I have gained some healthy weight and have even ran in three different marathons.
That is what I like to call “good weight”. I am by no means overweight, but I was definitely underweight before I began gaining weight. Some people have this perception that gaining weight is always a bad thing; that is just retarded. Gaining weight can sometimes be as healthy as losing weight.
Now I know we have a weight problem in our country, but the truth is some people can’t help it. Big people are born each day, and their bodies are made in a way that makes them be bigger. I have plenty of “husky” friends and they live very healthy lives… they are just big is all. They run marathons with me, they eat great balanced diets, and they have even removed fats and sugars from their daily lives. It doesn’t make them unhealthy to be bigger, it’s just the way they are and as long as they live a healthy life that is all I can ask and wish for them.
But sometimes, sometimes a person who is overweight gets the idea that it would be a great idea to gain MORE weight, just for the sake of being bigger and bigger. That, to me, is INSANITY!
Where is the Anger boiling from? RIGHT HERE!
Donna Simpson of New Jersey is bigger then most. She tips the scales at a little over 600lbs! That’s a pretty big woman, until you realize that she wants to gain MORE weight. This crazy woman wants to be the Fattest Person EVER. She wants to tip the scales at 1000lbs! HOLY COW INDEED!!!!
Now I’m not too sure what goes through a person’s mind when they make a life altering decision like this, but I bet it is similar to a heroin addict who NEEDS to score that needle and juice. You know Mama Douchebag always told me, “I don’t care what you do in life, just as long as you are the best at what you do.” I wonder if Donna’s mother feels the same.
So what is the “big” deal? Why am I grinding the “fat” here? What do I have a “huge” problem with this woman’s personal decision?
The truth is her decision is NOT personal, and someone needs to step in. Because of her increased weight Donna will be susceptible to more doctor’s visits, be at higher risk for disease, and will probably eventually die because of her hefty weight. And because of her “illness” this will most likely be paid for by taxpayers. Because lets be serious; what insurance company is gonna insure her? And even if she did get insured the premiums would be outrageous!
Society, doctors, and pretty much everyone who is sane agrees that this woman is killing herself. Yet we sit here and not only ALLOW it, but we help PAY for it with our tax dollars. Her main income is used to pay the 12,000 calories she ingests DAILY. So when she starts getting the onset of diabetes, or her heart starts to fail, or a chicken leg gets stuck in her esophagus; WHO do you think will need to pay for her help to “stay alive”? It will be Jane and Joe taxpayer to the rescue.
To me this is the equivalent of keeping a suicidal person alive who continues to commit attempted suicide daily. Even after we save their life they run right back to jumping out of windows and popping loads of prescription pills to “end it all”. They have no respect for life or those around them, and in some sort of selfish retaliation they take it out of the world with their inappropriate actions.
What ever happened to being healthy just for the sake of being healthy? I don’t give two shits if a person is “overweight” to be honest; but I do care that they attempt to take better care of themselves. But Donna just spits in our faces. Hell she even has created a website so people can watch her EAT and get FATTER! THIS IS THE FRAKEN WORLD WE NOW LIVE IN PEOPLE!!!!!
Is it just me that is angered by Donna’s actions? Or do you find that this is perfectly acceptable behavior? I know weight is a touchy subject but I am genuinely interested in what you guys think. Comment below and let the AngryFANatics know what you think of this super weight gain. Is it OK to gain weight? If so what is “too much”? I’m real curious on how I see this issue vs how you guys will see it. So keep them comments coming!!!

Angry Minute
When I go to the ice cream parlor I stand before their display and gaze at the flavors that ballet before my eyes. Maybe I will stick with the standard chocolate or vanilla; but maybe I’ll spice up my day with some rainbow sherbet or even the strawberry kind that has the big chunks of real strawberries mixed within it. But ultimately the only person who can decide what flavor is best for me is myself. I can ask others their opinion on the matter, but when that cold treat touches my lips it will be because of the pros and cons I have weighed. Mmmmm I love ice cream!
Education is just like ice cream. We offer our children different areas of education (math, science, computers, art, etc) and ultimately they decide what flavor of education is best for them. Some become Math majors; some become English majors; and so on and so on.
The problem with education today is that we are not offering our kids the right flavors. We still have that oldschool mindset that our children only need to have the basic academic flavors (Math, Science, Social Studies, English). Our society has evolved, but our educational system and those who lead the educational system are still dusty dinosaurs who don’t see the changes that have occurred in our society.
So where is my anger coming from on this subject? My fans know that I have bitched and complained about the poor education process and how our children are our future… yet we are not preparing them to LEAD our future.
One of my Angry FANatics (that’s what I’m gonna call my fanbase, FANatics) sent me a message a few days ago. Let’s call her Redbird for privacy reasons. Redbird expressed her frustration and anger over the changes and budget cuts many schools are making. But she had backup, she had PROOF of their incompetence. And it all starts with this video here.
Redbird recommended I start watching the video around the 7.5 minute mark and see if the anger boiled within my soul. I’m good with instructions so I dialed it to that spot this morning as I prepared for work. What I heard confused and ANGERED me!
This school system (the Kenton City School System) has to trim some fat this year as they are over budget. Nothing new there as schools are always fighting the budget crunch. But the approach and ASSUMPTION of these board members are endangering the children that attend these schools.
At the 7.5 mark a lady name Patti comes up and speaks about a recent cut that she (and others like Redbird) don’t quite understand. You see the school board has elected to remove the computer arts program from their local middle school. This basically boils down that these children won’t get any education on computers until they reach high school, and even then (as you watch after Patti it’s revealed that keyboarding/typing has been removed entirely from the school curriculum) these kids aren’t even taught HOW to type.
Now I can bitch about a lot of things in this video, but as a 27 year old working in society I can say without a shadow of doubt that I use my computer and the skills I learned from my education about computers to get myself a great job and the ability to move up the corporate ladder. Computers and the ability to type are INSTRUMENTAL in today’s world and without those skills people find they are VERY VERY limited in where they can go and what they can do.
And the school board president’s response? He just figures that since computers are “everywhere” that kids should already know how to use them. WHAT BS! What an ASSSSSSSSSSHAT! Assuming makes an ass out of everyone, and that is EXACTLY what this school board president has done.
What about the poor kids who don’t own a computer? I know in today’s society a lot of us take for granted that WE have computers and internet and all that… but there are people (especially in Kenton where the median income of households is $29,065*) that are POOR and cannot afford FOOD let alone a computer with a monthly charge for internet access. It doesn’t help that Kenton jobs have decreased by 79% since July 2008*. And there are 15% of households in Kenton that make LESS than $10,000 A YEAR*! With more then HALF of their income going to rent (that is on average of $381 per month*) are these families going to RUN OUT and buy a $500 PC and then an additional $20 per month for crap dialup? That’s almost a $750 expense right there or, 7.5% of that family’s income!
So Mr. School Board President; to just ASSUME that kids should KNOW how computers work just because they are around us MAKES NO FRAKIN SENSE! That’s like saying that since I eat a fish that I know HOW to fish, or that since I see stars in the sky I should be good at astronomy. Just because it is AROUND us doesn’t mean we KNOW it. I drive a car, yet I know jackshit about how it works!
I work for a Help Desk for a very successful insurance company and I can easily tell you the workers that don’t last are those who don’t have the computer experience and education. Without the ability to type so many words per minute or even the ability to understand where in a computer they go to perform the simplest of actions, they are let go and forced into jobs that give lower wages. But that fits RIGHT IN with Kenton, as their biggest industries for hiring works are Catering Services, Food Service Contractors, Convenience Stores, Blood & Organ Banks, and Clinics & Outpatient Services*. Yeah I guess computer education isn’t that big of a deal when your town offers these as their “bread and butter” professions. It even looks stranger when you see that the most commonly listed Kenton jobs include territory sales manager jobs and assistant store manager jobs, both which would require computer knowledge and expertise (or one who would have these skills would have an edge over those who don’t).
Kenton is your typical “Varsity Blues” type of town. They push their children to be football superstars, but then when their football career is over the majority of them do not have the skills to progress into a real job that makes them real money to survive. Then these kids have no choice but to move back “home” to Kenton and live in their parent’s basement and work at one of the multitude of fast food restaurant or even the backbreaking warehouse labor in the area for the majority of their life with little compensation.
If the Kenton School Board, or any small town school board, truly cared for their children they would ensure that those kids would have the best in computer classes. Because without these skills they will end up working at a dead-end job in a dead-end city. But that fits right in with Kenton, now doesn’t it?

Angry Minute
It seems we now live in a society that has forsaken common courtesy. I was raised to have respect and honor; but as I look around I see those who have nothing but selfish intentions. They only care how their actions affect their lives and care nothing for those around them.
One of the rudest activities I know of in this modern society is that of cellphone usage. Now don’t get me wrong, the cellphone is one of the greatest inventions of the past 20 years. Hell without cellphones our lives would be immensely different. But as one radioactive photographer once told me, “With great power comes great responsibility.”
People seem to not understand this; they think their cellphone is a RIGHT and not a privilege. So they talk on it NO MATTER WHAT. We’ve all been in line behind that douchebag who is talking away on his phone, and because his attention is diverted he doesn’t realize he is holding up the line in some way. Or how about when you are having a conversation with someone and their cellphone rings so they interrupt your conversation to answer it. How rude! And I find it especially rude when they answer that call just to tell the person on the other end that they will “call them back.” Why not let it go to VoiceMail? Why do you HAVE to interrupt the conversation?
I would just like people to learn how to use their cellphones responsibility. We should not live in a society where we are controlled by our own devices. If you call me and I don’t answer my phone it might be because I am in the midst of doing something and I will try to call or even text you back after. Don’t call me ten times within five minutes UNLESS IT IS AN EMERGENCY! Pisses me off when a friend calls me multiple times and when I answer the call it isn’t an emergency! I saw you called me the FIRST time so just have some patience and get over yourself; you are NOT the center of the universe!
So how about when you get into your car you hang up the phone and try to DRIVE for a change? Or how about when you are in line at the store you SHUT YOUR FRAKIN PHONE OFF and stop being a jackass to the others in line? How about you turn your phone OFF in the movie theater (even using text in a movie is RUDE and you should be dragged out of the theater and beaten till you are crippled. There are people behind you that are being distracted by that light emanating from your hands JACKASS). Is this REALLY that hard? Is our society such technology addicts we have to be on the device every second of every day?
It pisses me off!
So what about cellphone or cellphone usage pisses you off? Let’s share our anger about these portable devices! For if we don’t change I fear we will be a society of drones attached to phones!!!
